I started my Football Career, dare I say it, with Roffey Robins at the age of 7. I played for the League Rep side scoring a couple of memorable goals at the Withdean Stadium against Brighton & Hove Albion Youth. Mind you I still got dropped for the next game.....

After playing Mini Minor football until the age of 16 I had to decide on a senior club and had successful trials with both Oakwood and Horsham YMCA. I ended up playing for a strong team set up by a few County Players where I worked in Crawley and established myself as the first choice Right Back. Unfortunately at the age of 20 I suffered a bad knee injury (snapped Cruciate Ligament) which involved quite major surgery at the time. I was forced to retire from playing competitively but stayed on with the team Coaching and Managing for another 5 years.

My involvement with Ambassadors started as a parent helper through my son who was one of the original Ambassador players, plucked from Ted's Saturday training at the Park. In 2007 I started assisting with the coaching and took my Level 1 Coaching Course in 2008 when along with Andy I took over the running of the team.

Dislikes:

Losing (although it is the taking part that counts), Cheese, Rain, Not being able to see both my Son's play on a Saturday (U9 & U11) and any bad pint of Beer.

Likes:

Football, Golf, Socialising, Kids, Coaching, Bike Rides and Port (I know strange as I don't like Cheese).
