Brighton Road Baptist Church

Who we are
We would like to introduce ourselves and our church to you. Brighton Road Baptist Church is made up of ordinary people from many walks of life who believe that God has revealed himself to the world through His word, the Bible. We believe that its teachings have relevance in today's world, and that by following the way of Jesus Christ in faith and trust, we find purpose to our daily living and assurance for the life to come. We are committed to sharing this good news with the community of which we are a part, and desire that both the people and the buildings are used as a resource for the benefit of those around us.

Sunday Services
The Church family meets for worship on Sundays at 10:30 am and 6:30 pm and we view bringing praise and gratitude to God as the central act of our life. A significant part of our service is devoted to teaching the Bible and its application to everyday life. Our musical worship comprises traditional and contemporary songs.

Other Church Activities
Because we believe that the church exists as a community, there are numerous and varied weekday activities enabling people to get to know one another in smaller groups. These include activities for young people from parents and toddlers to youth groups, three women's meetings, a men's meeting, football teams and Sunday Club on Sunday mornings. House Groups are a particularly important feature of our fellowship and these provide an opportunity once a fortnight to meet in small groups in member's homes for informal Bible study, prayer and mutual support.
