Bennetts Field is the home ground of Horsham Baptists FC.

We know that it is not the best 'pitch' in the world but it is our home fondly known as Bennetts Bog. (or The Stadium of Light!).

Baptists moved to 'the bog' from Horsham Park for the 1996/1997 season after the collapse of East End Utd. its former hosts. In those days we had three teams and Bennetts had two pitches, ideal. The teams could play together in one place. Sadly in 2001 we closed our third team.

However the council decided in there wisdom in 2003 that two pitches were no longer required and landscaped the Brighton Road entrance (which now looks lovely) put a playground in and leave only a 1 adult pitch and shorten the other to a junior pitch.

A bit sad for local senior football but helpful to Junior football in the area.

Bennetts Field is a local community gathering area and Horsham Baptists FC will try to do their bit to help and support it. Traditionally we have always had a number of players from the surrounding streets.
